If every child matters, then so does every gifted child.

Every year, over 35,000 children are born in the UK who are gifted and talented. That is enough to fill 700 school buses! Yet their needs are often overlooked and they can face problems which, if not addressed, will mean that they will fail academically, socially and emotionally. Without the support they need, their gifts can die and they will never become the adults they were meant to be.

Common problems faced by gifted children can include:

  • Being bullied
  • Mental health problems including depression and eating disorders
  • Behavioural issues at home and school
  • Underachievement and failure at school, truancy and exclusion.
  • Becoming isolated, lonely, traumatised and even suicidal.
  • Additional special needs which can make them "twice exceptional"
We exist to support gifted children and their families across the UK.
