The Above and Beyond Awards 2019. Winners Group with Bobby Seagull

The 2019 Above and Beyond Awards Ceremony took place on February 11th at the International Conference Centre, Birmingham.

The Above and Beyond Awards celebrate parents, teachers, support staff and other professionals in the UK who go ‘above and beyond’ to help exceptional young people within the UK achieve their high learning potential. They also celebrate the achievements of children and young people in the UK, ‘above and beyond’ expectation for their age, who help in the wider community or are overcoming challenges in order to excel.

We had a fantastic day at the first ever Above and Beyond Awards. Hosted by the brilliant Bobby Seagull, we were privileged to welcome the shortlisted nominees for afternoon tea and a presentation of awards and certificates to our amazing winners and runners-up. Thank you for what you do and for sharing the day with us.  Also thanks to everyone who attended this celebration and to those behind the scenes who made it possible; to the judges, who had the difficult task of shortlisting nominees and winners from an inspiring set of nominations; to those who presented prizes, including former Potential Plus UK President, Johnny Ball; to Peter Bearne from ITV News Central for sharing our day on Central News and to all the organisations involved in making this a special day.
