How to handle the biggest and smallest numbers in the universe. Michael O’Callaghan will explain the standard notation e.g. 2 x 10^3 and how to use it. 

There will be examples including viruses, galaxies and strings. It will be relatively short and will have different exit points – depending on whether your numeracy age is is 8 or 10 or 21.
