WARNING! After this you may have no choice but to become a scientist when you grow up!

A chance to be a scientist, think like a scientist, spend a day with a scientist and have a go at lots of experiments exploring the world of science, philosophy and medicine. You will measure the speed of sound and the height of trees just by looking at them! Create and perform a whole group ‘Dance of the Red Blood Cell’ and design and make your own self – powered vehicle to take home. Using everyday objects and solutions, have a go at lots of different experiments that make things explore, spray, change colour, float, sink and move in a very unexpected way. You will do Fermi experiments, play science scrabble and use Concept Cartoons.

There will be lots of discussions using history, geography, maths and the creative arts to bring science alive and to make it great FUN. You will also share all your discoveries and ideas from the day with the Charity ‘SENSE About Science’ (https://senseaboutscience.org/) which could lead to some amazing opportunities!
