Every generation since the thirteenth century has had its own take on the story of England’s favourite outlaw, Robin Hood – the peasants hero who fought injustice and robbed from the rich to give to the poor. In seven hundred years the story of the man in green tights from Sherwood Forest has been unmatched by any other legend, but, is it true? We will investigate bow the legend has changed over the years, sort out the fact from the fiction, determine who the real Robin Hood may have been and consider why his story is still so powerful.
