We will be looking at how the roman’s spent their leisure time. Participant’s will explore the world of gladiators, chariot racing, theatre and the baths, while simultaneously being introduced to the Latin language and words associated with these activities. Through crafts and games, as well as language – based puzzles, the participants will work in groups, encountering and evaluating the different forms of entertainment, culminating in a competition where they represent and argue the case of the most popular.
At 3.15pm, parents will be invited to join their children in order to see what they have achieved during the day.
Students need: packed lunch and drinks.
