This professional development workshop will cover the topic of best practice in identification of high potential (more able) learners, particularly when there are gaps in the usual data this year due to Covid-19. Join us to find out how to make sure you aren’t missing out on supporting students to reach their potential by using a variety of tools to triangulate information, spot and nurture high-level skills and develop student’s aspirations. Participants will go away with next steps and supporting resources. This interactive workshop will be delivered remotely via Zoom. Numbers are limited to 20 participants.
The facilitator for this session is Rebecca Howell. Rebecca is Senior Education Consultant at Potential Plus UK. She leads various aspects of the organisation, including support for schools and has oversight of both the assessment and the advice service. She is passionate about leadership and developing new services to support members. With a background in educational leadership, she has 3 children with HLP/DME.
