This interactive workshop with limited numbers will cover the reasons that home learning is sometimes a struggle, including managing additional SEN, meltdowns and lack of motivation, what home learning for children with high learning potential should look like, how to help your high learning potential child with home learning and how to raise concerns with your child’s school.
This online workshop will be presented by Hannah Morris, an independent Educational Psychologist with 13 years’ experience of assessing children’s strengths and difficulties, advising families and schools in how to help with learning, behaviour and development. As well as a professional interest in working with children who have high learning potential, her son has dual or multiple exceptionality (with Tourettes). Her Educational Psychology practice is founded on the principle of understanding and she is passionate about helping children know their strengths and why they may find some things difficult at school. She is looking forward to sharing her psychology ’toolbox’.
